A Collaboration with Oregon poet Donna Henderson, the text of Little White Salmon is a narrative of the life of the Columbia River, and the life cycle of Pacific Northwest salmon, from the perspective of the salmon.

Little White Salmon is Debussy-ian in its commitment to color and piano-writing, and makes use also of South Asian and Indonesian harmonic and rhythmic materials.
