Due Meditazioni sulla Dharmachakra is written for Francesco Zago and Elena Talarico for their debut album as KUBIN.*  The piece is a response to meditations on a Dharmachakra mandala, and my reflections on those circular cycles and transformations translated to telescoping rhythms, and palindromic melodies as vehicles for both motion and stillness. The first movement focuses on the motion aspect of the mandala, the second movement focuses on the stillness.
